What if my baby wiggles?
Support the hand and work a little at a time. If your baby pulls away or will not keep their hand supported, pause and try again during a calmer moment.
Can I use it while my baby sleeps?
Choose a time when you can comfortably support the hand and see the nail. Babies respond differently to sound and touch, so a quiet motor does not guarantee uninterrupted sleep.
How many settings and attachments are there?
The file has two speed levels and two rotation directions. Each full kit includes six interchangeable attachments and a storage case. The separate refill pack contains three heads only.
Is it rechargeable?
No. This model uses two AA batteries, which are not included. Open the battery cover and follow the polarity markings and included instructions.
Will filing stop every scratch?
Nail length, sharp corners and new growth all matter. Inspect the finished edge and keep up a routine that suits your baby. Filing does not prevent pinching or grabbing.
How long do the heads last?
Wear depends on the head, nail and frequency of use. Replace a worn or damaged head rather than pushing harder. Matching three-head refill packs are available as a $7.65 add-on when you order a full kit.
How do I clean and store it?
Switch the file off before changing attachments or cleaning. Follow the included cleaning instructions, keep the motor and battery compartment dry, and store the kit and small attachments out of children's reach.
